Summer in St Anton
Summer is a delightful time to visit St Anton. It is fantastic resort for keen walkers wanting to explore the vast high alpine trails and peaks of the scenic Arlberg region.
Enjoy an unhurried atmosphere in the summer, surrounded by beautiful and dramatic scenery. Walks vary from pretty forested valley trails starting in the village, up to spectacular high ridge walks with panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and glaciers, accessed by cable-car. The pedestrianised village centre has a handful of shops and cafes, a superb public spa, and holds various events and festivals throughout the summer. It also has its own train station and is well placed for excursions to Innsbruck, Switzerland and Germany.
There are 300 km of scenic hiking trails in the St. Anton am Arlberg region. There is a choice of hikes. For many experienced alpinists, the St. Antoner Klettersteig is one of the most beautiful climbing trails in the Alps. You can explore the region under expert guidance, the tourist office offers daily guided hikes. Enjoy the scenery on hikes with certified hiking guides from the Arlberg Arena Mountain Hiking School, who are able to provide lots of interesting information on the landscape and local history along the way.


The 200 km of cycle paths have a variety of difficulty. These are perfect for exploring on an e-bike or on a traditional mountain bike. The 6-hole course in St. Anton and the 9-hole golf club in Lech promise alpine golfing pleasure at the highest level.
Yoga is a great way to perfectly counter-balance work, family and sport for manny people. Several times a week the experienced yoga instructor introduces visitors to healthy yoga in unique locations in the midst of nature. The focus is all about enjoyment, to do something good for oneself.

Collect your St. Anton Summer Card free-of-charge on the first day of your holiday at the reception. It is valid until your day of departure and provides you with many activities throughout the region.
The following services are included free in your Summer Card:
- For one day, use of all cablecars which are open as often as you like
- One admission to the swimming pool at ARLBERG-well.com or at Wellnesspark Arlberg Stanzertal in Pettneu
- One guided hiking tour corresponding to the weekly programme
- Choose one activity from the three following offers: e-bike tours (including loaned bike), a round of archery or Yoga, corresponding to the weekly programme
- One free-of-charge green fee for the St. Anton am Arlberg 9-hole golf course (basic Golf Certificate required)
- Free admission to Museum St. Anton am Arlberg
- One attendance to the torchlight hike
- Unlimited use of all operating buses running between Landeck and St. Christoph am Arlberg (local bus, hikers bus, Verwall bus, public bus from St. Christoph am Arlberg to Landeck)
